1. Principles of Ice Making:Water enters the water distribution tray from the inlet of the ice machine evaporator and is evenly sprinkled onto the inner wall of the evaporator through the sprinkler pipe, forming a water film; The water film exchanges heat with the refrigerant in the evaporator channel, causing a rapid decrease in temperature, forming a thin layer of ice on the inner wall of the evaporator. Under the compression of the ice knife, it breaks into flakes of ice and falls into the ice storage through the ice drop port. Part of the unfrozen water flows back to the cold water tank from the return port through the water receiving tray and passes through the cold water circulating pump.
2. Ice making cycle: By supplementing the water valve, the water automatically enters a water storage tank, and then is pumped through the flow control valve to the diversion head. There, the water is evenly sprayed onto the surface of the ice maker, flowing like a water curtain through the wall of the ice maker. The water is cooled to the freezing point, while the water that has not been evaporated and frozen will flow into the storage tank through the multi hole tank, restarting the cycle work.
3. Ice harvesting cycle: When the ice reaches the required thickness (normally, the ice thickness is 1.5-2.2MM), the hot air discharged by the compressor is redirected back into the ice maker clamp wall to replace the low-temperature liquid refrigerant. In this way, a thin film of water is formed between the ice and the evaporation tube wall, which will act as a lubricant when the ice falls freely into the groove below under the action of gravity. The water generated during the ice harvesting cycle will be returned to the storage tank through multi hole tanks, which also prevents wet ice from being discharged by the machine.
