The freezing capacity is 800kg/hr shrimp. The customer is very satisfied with this project. A spiral freezer is mainly composed of several devices including a transmission part, an evaporator, thermal insulated chamber, and an electrical control system. The transmission part consists of a driving motor, mesh belt, and steering wheel. The evaporator is made up of stainless steel and aluminum fins, which are arranged with variable fin spacing to ensure smooth air circulation. The evaporative pipes are available in both aluminum and copper. The thermal insulated chamber is made up of polyurethane storage plates, with both the inner and outer walls made of stainless steel. The electrical control system is composed of a control device with PLC as its core.
Spiral freezers can be classified into two types based on the number of drums: single spiral freezer and double spiral freezer. They can also be classified into two modes based on the position of the driving motor: external driven type and internal driven type. In comparison, the external driven type can effectively isolate the pollution and heat generated by the motor and reducer to ensure sanitary and environmental advantages.
During the operation of the spiral freezer, the product enters from the inlet and is evenly spread on the mesh belt. The frozen product rotates in a spiral motion with the mesh belt while being uniformly cooled by the cold air sent by the evaporator, thereby achieving rapid freezing. The center temperature of the product reaches -18℃ within a specified time, and the frozen material is transported out of the outlet and enters the next process.
